Hi Prepaid is a Dutch telecom. To activate unlimited GPRS internet access for €9,95/month, call: *132#. To de-activate, call *132*009# and you will only be able to surf until the end of the month.
It took me a while to find the right settings for a non-supported phone, my Samsung i900 Omnia (settings for supported phones here). Here they are:
They only seem to offer WAP; i.e. only port 80 (http) goes out via their proxy, everything else seems blocked. You can forget about running MSN Messenger, etc. via the Hi Prepaid GPRS. Please let me know if you know any alternative...
By the way, Skype runs by setting its proxy type as HTTPS and address to 10.10.100.20 at port 5080, but the bad voice quality (lag) makes it unusable.
All these are extremely annoying. Surfing through an HTTP(S) proxy only is killing all applications which do not use HTTP(S). Come on, It is 2008!!! No value for money here, even at €9,95/month. My advice: ditch KPN and go with Vodaphone.
